It isn't really so random, though, because this is something I think about a lot. Here's the question:
What do you carry with you every day? What are the things that you simply don't leave home without?
For me, it's a wallet with a key ring attached, a smartphone, a journal/notebook, and a pen. Sometimes I carry all of these items in a handbag. Other times, I put the wallet in my left front pocket and the phone in my right, and carry the journal in my hand, with the pen clipped to its cover.
I asked my daughter this question. Her answer was, "Money, if I have any, and something to read, just in case." Sounds sensible to me.
How about you? What do you carry out into the world with you? I honestly want to know.
