The rest of the year: I wish for good things to happen with ease and I wish for things to work the way they're supposed to.
I wish to end the year with arrangements made for good things to happen in the new year too.
I wish for energy and relaxation so that I don't get overwhelmed or cranky. I wish to enjoy the rest of the year.
I wish to sail smoothly into the new year.
The word of the year for 2014 was Play, and I want to play during the remaining days of the year. There are things I want to get done, things that might be considered work, and I want them to be playful and fun. Somehow.
The word of the year for 2015 is Rest. If I get the things done that I want to, and if I do them playfully, I can begin the year feeling rested.
And if I don't get it all done, I can invoke the idea and ideal of Rest and let those things rest a while and then deal with them.
I'm Kathleen Avins, a music therapist and an artist.
